LawTrails provides AI-powered legal drafting, client management, and contract automation tools.
These Services are provided on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate registration and billing details
- Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials
- Use the platform only for lawful professional purposes
- Avoid uploading or transmitting illegal, defamatory, or infringing material
You are solely responsible for any content you upload or create using LawTrails.
5. License to Use
LawTrails grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or reverse engineer the software
- Share access credentials with unauthorized users
- Use LawTrails to build or train competing AI systems
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in LawTrails’ platform, design, content, and software belong exclusively to LawTrails Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
You retain ownership of any legal documents or data you upload.
By using the Services, you grant LawTrails a limited licence to:
- Store and process your data for service delivery
- Use aggregated, anonymized data to improve system performance
7. Confidentiality & Data Use
LawTrails maintains strict confidentiality over all user data and uploaded documents.
We will not view or use your legal content except to:
- Provide support or maintenance
- Enhance AI accuracy through anonymized analysis
8. Payment & Subscription

- Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance.
- Payments are non-refundable once access is activated.
- LawTrails reserves the right to suspend access for overdue accounts.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
LawTrails makes no warranties regarding:
- Accuracy of AI-generated outputs
- Uninterrupted or error-free access
- Fitness for a particular purpose
Generated drafts are not legal advice and must be reviewed by qualified professionals.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- LawTrails shall not be liable for any loss of profits, data, or indirect damages arising from your use of the Services.
- Our total liability in any case shall not exceed the subscription fee paid in the preceding 3 months.
11. Termination
You may discontinue use at any time.
LawTrails may suspend or terminate access if:
- You breach these Terms, or
- Your account remains inactive or unpaid beyond 30 days.
Upon termination, your access is revoked, and your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts in Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
13. Updates to Terms
LawTrails reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Updates will be posted at lawtrails.ai/terms-of-use with the revised “Effective Date”.
